Charlotte
Hello, I’m Charlotte, a BACP-registered counsellor with over seven years of experience supporting people through a wide range of life’s challenges, including addiction recovery, trauma and difficult life events.
I’m a naturally caring and empathetic person which I bring to my work and will collaborate with you to find a pace that feels comfortable.I understand that beginning therapy can be a daunting process but I want you to know that I can offer you a non-judgmental space to be your authentic self, where all your emotions and feelings are welcome and completely valid. My main priority is to support you with my professional knowledge, at a pace that feels right for you.
I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches and tailor my sessions to meet your unique needs. Whatever you are bringing, together we can unpack your experience, I have extensive knowledge of grounding and regulation tools for you to use in your life. Your needs will be held safely at the centre of our time together. I’m also a trained mindfulness teacher, which I am very passionate about. 🌱

A little bit more about me:
I’m originally from Wales; I love being out and about in nature and really enjoy walking and running in the forest in my local area of Scotland. I also enjoy travelling, I spent a year living in China teaching English and have done voluntary work in Thailand and Vietnam. I’m passionate about exploring new places and learning about different cultures. I train regularly at the gym, which is a great way to unwind and I also love curling up on the sofa with a good book and a nice coffee.
My travels and moving over the years has highlighted the impact of community and culture on our experiences and inner world. I have experience of a wide range of clients from different cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, genders, LGBTQI+ and neurodivergence 🌎🏳️🌈. I will always create a safe space for you to be your authentic self.
